Everything to do with the people is underneath the umbrella of Juneteenth Atlanta!
Georgia United!
This is your VIP invitation to attend the Juneteenth Atlanta Community Initiative Fundraiser and Annual Report.
We're looking for 300 partners, sponsors, and contributors to join us at Atlanta City Hall, February 27th, 2025, for our inaugural Juneteenth Community Initiative, annual report and fundraiser. This is an invitation only event.
We're welcoming our public officials, community leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, celebrities, philanthropists and corporate executives. Find out about Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival’s future plans and how your organization can get involved! The evening includes food, networking and the Juneteenth Atlanta official report.
Our Mission:
Juneteenth Atlanta’s mission is to educate the public about the Juneteenth holiday and highlight historical achievements through art, music, and dance festivities while creating economic opportunities.
Our Vision:
To build a nationally televised black history parade and freedom festival that attracts state participation and international attendance.
Our Fundraising Statement:
Juneteenth Atlanta is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in its 12th year of service. Juneteenth Atlanta is also an 11-year member of the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation that pushed the Juneteenth national holiday legislation into law. Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival has produced a free to the public, three-day music festival and parade. Our event goal is to have statewide representation that includes participation from every city and county in Georgia for a collective Juneteenth celebration that displays statewide unity, exemplifies cooperative economics and attracts attendance from around the world.
Our event offers opportunities for youth, families, speakers, performers, celebrities, entrepreneurs, businesses, and corporations. Our event includes tennis, basketball, baseball, track and field, swimming, kick ball, double dutch, kite flying, fishing and numerous other sports and family activities. We promote educational activations, STEM, networking, vending, pageants, family reunions, fathers day celebration, voter registration, community resources and much more.
Our underlined objectives include freedom, liberty, human rights, social justice, judicial reform, status correction, self determination, and reparations. Based on these core values, we have unselfishly become one of the largest Juneteenth celebrations in America. During 2023 our parade and festival attendance surpassed 100k. Our parade has been locally televised since 2021 and we strive to be nationally televised by 2027. Help us unite Georgia while spotlighting our youth up front and center.
Our upcoming public address will kick off our much needed $2.5M fundraising goal for 2024. These funds will be used to promote and advertise statewide unity, build parade floats and mechanical battery powered carts, meet all parade and festival logistical needs, upgrade stages, sound and festival equipment, secure A lists artists, secure numerous amusement rides and provide major educational and performance activations for youth and young adults that stimulates a positive social and economical impact on society. As the result of our tremendous growth and cost over the years we need your help and support in initially raising 350k of the 2.5M goal by the 29th of February. No donation, grant, or sponsorship is too large or too small.
